The teenage and youthful years are filled with growth, promise, trials and tribulations. During this time, one may be faced with life-changing decisions and challenges. And often these dilemmas are not easily answered. In our YOUTH AFLAME ® Holiday Camp, we will guide teenagers to a better understanding of themselves, their strengths and their desires, while helping them to devise and achieve plans for realising their visions. Teens and youths will understand and learn the importance of Success Circles as well as how the Success Process works. 

 In an entertaining and interactive style, we will endeavour to bridge the gap between education and the real world, and provide teenagers and youths with the means to boost self-esteem, avoid peer pressure, and handle the daily stresses that come with being a young adult. Our programme is filled with relevant and practical wisdom for today’s young adults.

Take a look around you. The Success Process is being lived out by people ranging from athletes to civil rights and civic leaders, to business giants, to teachers and parents, to students. When most people think of successful students, they think of the high achievers in the classroom, on the playing fields and courts, and in music and the arts. Indeed, these are all important areas of growth, learning and success. But how about teenagers and youths in the world of business, teenagers and youths as entrepreneurs? Teens and youths are finding success here, too. There is an ever-increasing number of sixteen- to nineteen-year-olds who are already self-employed, running their own business and making money. Many teens today are finding out that they don’t have to wait to become an adult before they taste success in business. We will challenge teen to adopt that new mindset  and to take action. We will challenge teens to begin with a dream. Then pursue it with passion. 

In our Youth Aflame Holiday Camp, our central activity is the Drum Circle Playshop (DCP). Our approach to learning is called “TEACHING WITHOUT TEACHING (TWT)” methodology. Through our Drum Circle Playshop, which guarantees FUN while learning, our participants will embark on a journey  of self-discovery to find lessons on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Character. Eventually, their adventure will lead them to the Stairway to Success, that will guide our participants to prepare and plan for success in their career and business in the very near future. Participants will be challenged to start planning and working out their future success even from now. They will learn that it is easier to succeed than fail. The Drum Circle Playshop will have proven to them this fact – that they all have unique talents but they must start using them, and not hide those talents. Success in the Drum Circle Playshop breaks whatever negative mindsets they have, and replace them with the “I CAN” attitude.

So watch out parents! Your kids will never be the same again. They will return as a better son and daughter, of good character, more in control of their emotions, more appreciative of what they have, more positive and optimistic, and all “gung-ho” to realise their dreams and succeed. Never under-estimate the teens, because in their hands lie the future of tomorrow.
